The Association for African Owned Enterprises (AAOE) is a non-profit organization formed to serve as a representative for businesses owned, directed or serving the African community and individual professionals.
Founded in 2006 the AAOE has grown from strength to strength over the years earning recognition as the leading organization representing all Africans in the UK.
We have gained our strength through establishing effective relationships with prominent community groups and recognized community leaders. We are always looking to build mutually beneficial partnerships with like-minded groups within the African community.
We keep out of politics, religion and tribalism and concentrate our efforts on enterprise and social matters that affect professional and entrepreneurial Africans from all African nationalities.

We do this by:
- Actively engaging with all government departments to ensure African owned businesses get the representation they deserve.
- Providing platforms for African owned businesses to network and raise issues that are critical to their existence & success.
- Forging partnerships with key stakeholders & policy makers to achieve our goals.
